Community Kitchen
Students and associates are invited to help volunteer at A Just Harvest. It is a community kitchen in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago that provides a nutritious meal to anyone in need, in partnership with more than 35 religious congregations and community organizations. Together, we serve approximately two hundred people each day from around the metropolitan area.
Transportation will be arranged for students leaving from Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston. If you are a student, please plan to arrive at Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston at 10:30 a.m. We will return around 3:00 p.m. If you are an associate, please plan to meet us at A Just Harvest, locatedat 7653 N. Paulina, off the Purple Line Howard Station. The dates for the fall quarter are:
- Monday, October 16th, 11:00-2:30 p.m.
- Monday, November 6th, 11:00-2:30 p.m.
