Nicole Sotelo

Nicole Sotelo is the Director of Mission Engagement for the Sheil Catholic Center. She is passionate about strengthening Catholic communities through mission-driven communications, development, and program planning. She has served in Catholic communications for nearly 20 years, working as a staff member or consultant for Catholic nonprofits, religious communities, and parishes. Nicole was a Young Voices columnist for National Catholic Reporter for many years and is the author of two books, Women Healing from Abuse: Meditations for Finding Peace (Paulist Press) and Pray Your Way through Forgiveness: Reflections, Prayers, and Actions for Healing (Twenty-third Publications). She also coordinates womenhealing.com. Nicole received a D.Min. from Catholic Theological Union, M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School, and B.A. from Wellesley College.

She enjoys spending time in prayer, reading, writing, and finding ways to ensure all God’s people have a safe and equal place at the table.
