Sunday Mass
Evanston Campus: During the academic year, Mass is celebrated on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. (livestreamed here), 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. in Sheil's Evanston chapel. During summer, June 21st through September 13th, there will not be Mass at 5:00 p.m.
Chicago Campus: All Chicago campus students are invited to join the Sunday Mass in Sheil's Evanston chapel or join us via livestream at 9:30 a.m. (livestreamed here).
Weekday Liturgy
Evanston Campus: During the academic year, Mass is celebrated Monday through Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion is celebrated on Friday at 5:00 p.m. All liturgy takes place in Sheil's Evanston chapel. During summer, June 15 through August 28th, there will not be Mass on weekdays. Starting August 31 through September 10th, there will be Mass on Mondays through Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. Mass will resume Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m. starting September 14th.
Chicago Campus: During the academic year, Mass is celebrated on Wednesdays at 12:10 p.m. at the Religious Life Center in Abbott Hall, Mezzanine Level, located at 710 N. DuSable Lake Shore Dr., Chicago. Mass will resume on the Chicago campus on August 26th.

Prepare for Your Visit
To help you prepare for your visit to the Sheil Catholic Center in Evanston or Chicago:
Transportation & Parking for Evanston Campus
If you are arriving by public transportation, the Noyes Purple Line Station is within walking distance of Sheil Catholic Center. If you are arriving by car on the weekend, there is a Northwestern lot directly across from Sheil on the east side of Sheridan Road where you may park unless otherwise noted. Some street parking is also available on weekends, however, please read signs for parking limits. If you are arriving by car on a weekday, please use street parking and read signs for parking limits. There is a small gravel lot available on the southwest corner of Sheil's Evanston campus that may be used on a first-come, first-served basis for Masses. If you are visiting Sheil for something other than Mass, ask the Sheil team member you are visiting or who is coordinating the event for a parking permit to park in the gravel lot. Please pay attention to the signage regarding limits and permits.
Transportation & Parking for Chicago Campus
If you are arriving by public transportation, you may take the Red Line "El" train to the "Chicago" station or take the 146, 147, or 151 bus to the corner of Michigan and Huron. It is an approximately 10-15 minute walk once you disembark from either the train or bus. If you are arriving by car, we recommend that you locate a nearby parking garage in advance.
