The Sheil Catholic Center ministers to more than just students. In addition to the undergraduates and graduate students on Northwestern University’s campuses, our dynamic community also welcomes our “associates” — those who participate in and support our mission and ministry with students. We look forward to getting to know you!

Opportunities to Get Involved

Worship and Prayer

Associates are invited to participate in the worship and prayer life of the Sheil community. Find Mass times here(opens in new tab) and Adoration/Harbor times here(opens in new tab). Faith Formation

All associates are invited to grow in their faith through Sheil's faith formation programs. Visit the Christ the Teacher Institute page or small groups page to learn more about upcoming seminars, bible studies, and more.

Service and Justice

Associates are an active part of Sheil's service and justice ministries. Hospitality and Community Life

Hospitality is at the core of the Sheil Catholic Center. All are invited to community events throughout the year; including Hospitality Sundays, Cheap Lunch, and the Lenten Fish Fry. Learn more on the hospitality page here(opens in new tab).
