Cheap Lunch
Every Wednesday at 12 noon at Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston Spring Term: April 2nd - May 28th. There is no Cheap Lunch during Holy Week on April 16th.
Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston hosts the popular "Cheap Lunch" for all students, faculty, staff, and the wider community. All are welcome for food and fellowship! The cost of a meal is a $3 donation for students, $5 donation for non-students. A meal includes one main dish (bratwurst, hamburger, hot dog, or veggie burger that is gluten-free and vegan), along with salad, chips, and drink. Plus, it's just $1 for an additional meat item, limit 2 per person. We accept cash donations or online credit card donations. Questions or want to volunteer? Hospitality Sunday
Spring Term: May 4th and June 8th at Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston
Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston hosts baked treats, beverages, and a welcoming spirit after each Mass about once a month while classes are in session and on special occasions. SPECIAL NOTE: The Hospitality Sunday on June 8th is part of Sheil's Gratitude Weekend! The weekend begins with Revival on June 6th where we thank God for the blessings of the year and concludes with Hospitality Sunday on June 8th where we thank all of Sheil's volunteers. There will be cake and fruit cups for all to enjoy. If you have been a volunteer at Sheil this year in any capacity, please plan to join us for this special celebration. If you haven't been a volunteer, please join us to help us thank Sheil volunteers!
Snack Table
Sheil always has a snack table available at its Evanston campus during the fall, winter, and spring quarters. It is located in the Commons, right outside the library doors. All students are welcome to stop by throughout the year for a snack and studying. During reading week, we host an extra special snack table full of snacks to nourish study sessions.
