Sheil Catholic Center is here to help you learn discernment practices as you make decisions about classes, relationships, jobs, and your future.

Speed Dating for Vocations

Wednesday, February 7, 5:45 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Lower Level at Sheil Catholic Center

Students, are you curious about Religious Life or the Priesthood? Speed Dating is a casual way to spend some time with men and women from multiple communities who can answer your questions big and small. We can't wait to meet you! A light reception is part of the program.

Thank you to everyone who came!

Discernment Opportunities

Discernment Group (open to undergraduate and graduate students)
Chicago Campus: Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., through March 1
Evanston Campus: Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., through March 1 (Christ the Teacher Classroom)

Many of us wonder what God's plan for us looks like. This small group is designed to assist you in developing practices for listening to where God is moving in your lives and therefore to helping you to unfold God's dream for you. We will explore who we are in God's eyes; and how recognizing our strengths and weaknesses will help us to understand how God speaks to us as individuals. We will also learn practices which assist in the process of listening. Interested in one of these groups? Contact Sister Belinda at 847.328.4648 or email her here.

Facilitator:  Sister Belinda Monahan, OSB, Director of Transformative Learning
