Adoration and Harbor
Adoration & Night Prayer
Take a break from the busyness of life and rest in the quiet peace of Sheil’s Evanston chapel. Every Monday from 8:00–9:00 p.m., spend time in Adoration and let yourself simply be with God. We close the evening together with Night Prayer starting at 8:50 p.m. — a calming way to end your day. There is no Adoration during the summer. Fall Term Dates: TBD
Harbor: Midweek Worship and Fellowship
Need a midweek reset? Harbor is your chance to pause, recharge, and connect. Every Wednesday from 8:00–9:00 p.m. in Sheil’s Evanston chapel, join us for an hour of Adoration — sometimes with live praise and worship music, sometimes in silence. Afterward, stick around for food, friends, and good conversation. Two priests are also available each week for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This year, Harbor will now include Intercessory Prayer. This type of prayer is a powerful way in which we can pray like Jesus did – on the behalf of others. We all come with our own intentions before the Lord, and Intercessory Prayer is another way in which those intentions may be amplified. Every Wednesday night during Harbor, there will be people in the back of the Chapel available to join in this prayer with and for you. Whether you are asking for prayers for a friend, for yourself, are at the top of your game, or are struggling and think you are alone, we're here to pray with and for you. Fall term dates will be posted below later this summer.
