Before the Ashes: A Night of God's Mercy - Tuesday, February 17th at 7:00 p.m., Adoration with the Sacrament of Reconciliation available, Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston
Ash Wednesday - Start your Lenten journey with Sheil on Ash Wednesday, February 18th!
Evanston Campus: Mass at 8:00 a.m., Prayer Service at 12:00 p.m., Mass at 5:00 p.m., and Mass at 8:00 p.m. Ash and Dash on the front lawn from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. All at Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston located at 2110 Sheridan Road.
Chicago Campus: Mass at 12:10 pm. in Rubloff 180 (first floor), Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Enter through the 420 East Superior Street Entrance.
Fish Fry - Join us on Friday, February 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Sheil's Evanston campus for our Lenten Fish Fry! Enjoy a delicious meal of fried fish, gluten-free option, tator tots, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and dessert! To reserve your dinner and pay in advance, press the button below. Reservations requested by Sunday, February 22nd. Plus, as part of the Fish Fry, there will be a blessing of the newly named Kincaid Corcoran Cafe at 6:30 p.m. Come join Teresa Corcoran and members of her family who will be there to commemorate the event. Also, if you’d like to extend hospitality, you may also sponsor a student’s meal through the reservation form and help ensure every student can gather at the table. All Sheil Day of Renewal | February 21, 2026
All members of the Sheil Community are invited to this day of renewal with reflection and service, as we look at the Lenten tenant of almsgiving and explore how we are called as Catholic Christians to live this out. The day will feature reflections, time in small groups, and service opportunities. The day will be led by members of the Sheil team and will begin at 10:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $5 for students and $10 for associates. Stations of the Cross - The Stations of the Cross are a special way to pray during the Lenten season. Join us every Friday (except March 27th during spring break) between February 23rd and April 3rd at 3:00 p.m. These will take place at Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston.
Catholic Relief Services' Rice Bowl - Rice bowls are a way to collect funds that help vulnerable people around the world and put your faith into action. The rice bowls are available after every Mass and service on Ash Wednesday, and will be on the table in the commons at Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston throughout Lent. Please pick one up and then bring it back the week after Easter. We will collect the funds and give them to Catholic Relief Services. To learn more about the rice bowl, click here.

Holy Wednesday | April 1, 2026 - Harbor with Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 8:00 p.m.
Holy Thursday | April 2, 2026 - Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:30 p.m., Adoration will follow until 11:00 p.m., with Night Prayer beginning at 10:50 p.m.
Good Friday | April 3, 2026 - Stations of the Cross at 3:00 p.m., Celebration of the Lord's Passion at 7:30 p.m., Veneration of the Cross will follow until 10:00 p.m.
Holy Saturday | April 4, 2026 - Easter Vigil at 8:00 p.m.
Easter Sunday | April 5, 2026 - Mass at 9:30 a.m. (also livestreamed here), 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m.
