End-of-Year Festivities
Vamos
Wednesday, May 28th, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston Calling all graduating students! Join us for this year’s installation of Vamos, a Sheil send-off, for all students who are moving on to the next chapter of life. On Wednesday, May 28th we come together to celebrate accomplishments, offer words of encouragement for “the real world,” and reflect on the time spent here at Northwestern. Whether you’re beginning a new career or continuing your education, our hope is that you will continue to seek God’s direction for what’s next, while knowing that you always have a home at Sheil. We’ll gather at 6:00 p.m. for a meal, and the program will follow until 7:30 p.m.
Revival
Friday, June 6, 2025, between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston Come light a candle in gratitude for the blessings of the year. There will also be opportunities for adoration with praise and worship music, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, free food, and conversation! Revival is part of Sheil's Gratitude Weekend at the end of the year.
Gratitude Sunday
Sunday, June 8, 2025, 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. Sheil Catholic Center, Evanston Join us in thanking all those who have volunteered with Sheil throughout the past year. There will be cake and fruit cups for all to enjoy. If you have been a volunteer at Sheil this year in any capacity, please plan to join us for this special celebration. If you haven't been a volunteer, please join us to help us thank Sheil volunteers! Gratitude Sunday is part of Sheil's Gratitude Weekend at the end of the year.
Graduation Masses
Evanston Campus: Graduation Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14th at 6:30 p.m. in Sheil's Evanston chapel. Mass will be followed by a reception. Students are welcome to wear graduation regalia. All are welcome!
Chicago Campus: Graduation Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 16th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral's chapel. Mass will be followed by a brunch reception for those with reservations.
