Feinberg Student Leadership Team
Mary Brenna Cheney, President
Hello! My name is Mary Brenna Cheney, and I’m a second-year MD/MPH student originally from Thousand Oaks, California. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2024 and commissioned into the U.S. Army through the Health Professions Scholarship Program. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, hiking, running along the lakefront, trying new restaurants, and exploring the city! The Sheil Catholic Community has been a welcoming and supportive presence since I began my time at Feinberg, offering a space to grow in my faith and build meaningful connections. I’m excited to serve as President CMA this year, sharing Sheil’s mission and continuing to build community within the Feinberg medical community. You may contact me here.
Joshua Tennyson, Vice President
My name is Joshua Tennyson and I am a second-year medical student at Feinberg. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and went to Duke, graduating in 2024 with a major in biomedical engineering and minors in computer science and chemistry. I like to fill my free time with basketball, puzzles, board games, and exploring Chicago. I am excited to join the Sheil community and to serve as the vice president of CMA this year. You may contact me here.
Anna Haigh, Treasurer
Hello! My name is Anna Haigh, and I am originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2023 and spent a year living and working in Madison, WI before starting medical school at Feinberg. Outside of school, I love running along the lake, reading, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops. It has been such a blessing to find the Sheil Catholic Community on campus, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to build relationships and contribute to our mission as Treasurer of CMA. You may contact me here.
