The Sheil Catholic Center is MORE THAN JUST A BUILDING; Sheil is:
The first floor of our Center includes a CHAPEL that comfortably seats 275 worshipers, a common GATHERING SPACE with a fireplace, pastoral staff offices, a LIBRARY with comfortable couches for studying, and two CONFERENCE ROOMS that can be reserved for meetings.
The lower level includes a community gathering space for sit down dinners that can accommodate 200 guests. Adjacent to the gathering space is a full size INDUSTRIAL KITCHEN that students are welcome to use to prepare food for their social events and meetings. Sheil often utilizes the space to host speakers and other special events. Also in the lower level is another gathering space for recreation and relaxation. An area for students to GATHER TO PLAY PING PONG, POOL, BOARD GAMES, WATCH MOVIES AND SPORTS or simply lounge around after a busy day of classes.
The Christ the Teacher smart classroom is located on the second floor of the building. This is where the Catholic Scholars classes are held as well as some of the seminars.
